What's your job in Lycania?

Growls and additional guitars.

Which are your favourite bands?

Too many to list, but here's an attempt at a Top 5:

1. Helloween

2. Blind Guardian

3. Skyclad

4. Death

5. Falconer

The top three albums of all time?

Walls of Jericho and Keeper of the Seven Keys I & II.

For how long do you make music?

I've been playing guitar casually since I was quite young, but more seriously since I was 15. I've also been singing both harshly and melodically for a few years, but primarily I'm a drummer.

Your favourite movie or TV series?

Movies: Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings, Monthy Python and the Holy Grail, Primal Fear, Airplane, Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3

Series: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, One Piece, Another, Dr Who, Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer

Do you have any idols?

There are people that musically and artistically influence and inspire me greatly, some of them being: Ingo Schwichtenberg, Clive Burr, Kai Hansen, Hansi Kürsch, Thomen Stauch, Mike Portnoy, Kate Bush, Ian Anderson, Martin Walkyier, Mathias Blad, Chuck Schuldiner and the guys in Seven Spires.

First CD you bought yourself?

I don't remember the first CD exactly, it might have been Blind Guardian's "Somewhere Far Beyond" or King Diamond's "Them". My first self-purchased vinyl however was Kreator's "Terrible Certainty"

What do you do when not making music?

I usually do always interact with music in one way or another, be it through riffing in my head, coming up with drum patterns or listening to music. But some of my less all-consuming hobbies are reading (primarily books of the Fantasy variety), watching anime, playing video games (Breath of the Wild at the moment) and spending time in nature.

Any wise words to conclude this interview?

I am as you can undoubtedly tell by this interview a man of many words. Unfortunately few, if any of them, are wise.
